    Ethnic Media Awards: Celebrating Community JournalismRecognizing excellence in ethnic media journalism covering politics, immigration, business, environment, arts, global issues, and health within diverse communities. Spotlighting impactful stories and community contributions.

    Each judge will certainly be asked to assess entries in a certain category and to choose three finalists per category, which will then be reviewed by an ACoM board of advisers to identify the second and initial area champions. Juries will certainly consist of people with linguistic and/or cultural fluency, understanding of the ethnic news media industry, and/or knowledge in areas ethnic media cover, such as politics, health care, the economic climate, education and learning, the setting, social justice concerns, sporting activities, food, and home entertainment.

    Political Reporting Award

    This honor honors exceptional extensive evaluation, feature tales, or investigatory coverage on the political pressures affecting ethnic and immigrant areas. From homeland politics to grassroots movements, area activism, and political election projects, it identifies reporting that demonstrates how political decisions and involvement form diverse communities.

    Immigration Reporting Award
